Happy #TimeWarpTuesday folks!

Whilst preparing for refurbishment work in the staff workroom – the powerhouse of the Library – we will be doing a mini highlight of some of our early editions of Time-warp Tuesday. With today’s highlight being from 26 November 2019…

This week we can see that the volunteers have been working hard and the front brick façade of the Bickford Soldiers’ Memorial Hall is nearly completed. The men pause for a few minutes on the scaffolding whilst the photograph is taken. Who else feels sorry for the wives and mothers’ who would have to clean those white overalls?!
