As of Friday 26 June the library will no longer provide battery recycling.

Single-use household batteries can be dropped off at the following locations:

• Coles, East Victoria Park
• Woolworths, Victoria Park Central
• Bunnings, East Victoria Park
• Aldi, East Victoria Park
• Battery World, Welshpool (also accepts and vehicle batteries)
• Leisurelife Centre, 248 Gloucester Street, East Victoria Park
• Town Administration, 99 Shepperton Road, Victoria Park

Make sure to place sticky tape around the battery terminal before recycling as even dead batteries have some residual charge.
