PART TWO
A local family has loaned the Library some materials to digitise, and amongst these items are many treasures including a copy of East Victoria Park Primary School’s 1961 Annual Magazine. It brings to life the story of the first ever primary school to have a brass band in Western Australia, discusses the school’s sporting prowess and includes some fun little poems and stories.
We hope you enjoy this peek into school life in 1961, and check back next week for another trip back in time.
