Ramsden Avenue

Ramsden Avenue in East Victoria Park is named in honour of Corporal Wilfred Harold Ramsden DCM MM (1889-1918) a former resident of East Victoria Park. Wilfred enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force in World War I and served with meritorious courage and devotion to his country and the battle for good over evil. Wilfred died from wounds received in action and broncho-pneumonia on the 9 November 1918.
