Busythings

Busythings is an online resource for the early years that includes more than 115 fun learning activities that help children learn important skills in the key learning areas of creative development, problem solving, reasoning, numeracy, communication, language and literacy and knowledge and understanding of the world.

This subscription has been provided through Better Beginnings, supporting families in sharing a love of reading.

  • To access Busythings: Connect via the website and sign in with your Victoria Park Library membership card number.
  • To learn on a computer: Interact and play online from your web browser.
  • To learn on a device: Connect to the website via your device's web browser, then select your age group and start learning online on your mobile device or tablet.

LibraryCraft

LibraryCraft is a Minecraft server available to WA kids aged 7-17 years old and can be run from personal devices (Windows, Mac & Linux) in the comfort of your own home.

There are multiple worlds connected by portals. There are survival worlds, creative worlds, three PVP combat worlds and a central lobby world.

How to access: Fill out the online form available here.
Note: LibraryCraft is a ‘whitelist’ server, which means your username has to be listed to be able to join. You must own the game and have logged into the game on a PC or Mac before.
