We have hundreds of magazines to read online!

Libby

Libby provides WA State Library and Public Libraries members with access to a range of full-colour, interactive, digital magazines delivered right to your desktop or favourite device. Magazines are available on Libby in the following languages: Afrikaans, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish.

Borrowing limit Unlimiited
Loan period Choose from either 7, 14 or 21 days. Borrowed magazines will now expire at the end of their lending periods, but you'll be able to renew them if you need more time to read.
Renewing items Loans can be renewed by selecting 'Manage Loan' next to the title you would like to renew.
Returning items You can return titles before they expire by selecting 'Manage Loan' next the title you'd like to return.


To access Libby: Connect via the website.

To set up a Libby account: Register as a Victoria Park Library (Western Australia public libraries) member with your membership card number.

To read on a computer: Read your borrowed titles online from your web browser.

To read on a device: Download and install the free Libby app - Apple or Android - to your device, then download them directly to your device.

Note: Libby is an app created by Overdrive. If you already use Overdrive you will be able to access the same content through the Overdrive website and app.

Borrowbox

BorrowBox is an award-winning Australian App that enables WA Public Library and State Library members to browse and borrow eMagazines (plus eBooks and eAudiobooks) on your Apple or Android device for limited periods, through digital loans.

Borrowing limit Ten eMagazines (including reserved titles).
Reserves Reserve up to ten eMagazines (includes current loans).
Loan period Two weeks (14 days). Titles are deleted from your account once the loan period is finished. You can choose to borrow individual issues or subscribe to receive the latest issue regularly.
Renewing items Loans can be renewed twice.
Returning items You can return titles before they expire, increasing your available loans. If you do nothing, the app will remove them automatically when the loan period is finished.

To create a BorrowBox account: Register as a Victoria Park Library member with your membership card number and password/pin and sign in. Note: The PIN number for this platform is the same one you use to log into the library catalogue. If you have forgotten your PIN number you can reset it via the catalogue.

To read/listen on a computer: Choose to Read issues online or download as a PDF.

The West Australian - Archive Digital Editions

You can now read a digital edition of The West Australian - Archive Digital Editions - no matter where you are in the world. Access the full newspaper from as recent as yesterday's edition back to July 2004.

The digital edition can be read from any location on any computer that has an internet connection - no downloads or plug-ins are needed.

All you need is to be a Library member, then contact Library staff for the login and password to enter when prompted at this link:
